2. Complete $25 Donation to MCA at the end of the registration form.
3. You will be notified within 7 days regarding your approval. Vendors that are not approved will be issued a refund.

Vendor Registration requires a $25 Donation to the Melrose Community Alliance that will be remitted to the Osborn School District Music Department. Payment will be collected at the end of the registration form. You may pay using a PayPal account or the option to use a Debit/Credit Card will also be provided. Vendors that are not approved to participate will be issued a refund.


Vendors who cancel their registration before November 15, 2019 will receive a 50% refund of their registration fees (due to fees incurred through PayPal and budgetary commitments). Vendors who cancel their registration between November 15 and December 15 will not be refunded their registration fee. Vendors who do not attend the event without notice will not receive a refund and may not be considered for future events. Please consider the donation to the Osborn Music Programs and the benefit of these registration costs.

Vendor Application Guidelines:

Vendor spaces are limited and available on a first paid/first reserved basis. Vendor merchandise is to be handcrafted or vintage. All vendors are subject to approval by the 2019 Merriment in Melrose Committee. Mass merchandise not allowed. Political campaigns and/or candidate booths are not allowed.


Vendors are responsible to supply your own tents, tables, chairs, lighting, and other merchandising supplies for your own booth. 


Vendor check-in begins promptly at 1pm and concludes at 4pm. If you do not check in by 1pm or your designated time, your space will be forfeited. Booth space is to be set-up by 4:00pm, to be open for business by 4pm and to remain open until the event closes at 8pm. The vendor or representative of the vendor must be present at the booth at all times for the duration of the event. More detailed check-in information will be provided before the event.


Vendors agree to only sell what is stated on the submitted application. An MCA representative may ask you to remove items not declared on the original application.


Vendors agree to be present at the event despite weather conditions. The Merriment in Melrose Event is held rain or shine and refunds are not issued. Vendors are required to display the booth number sign issued to you at the event check-in on the upper right hand corner of your booth space. Vendors display all merchandise at your own risk. 


MCA is not responsible for damage, theft, or loss of merchandise or booth facilities. Vendors are responsible for the cleanliness of their own booth space and the surrounding area throughout and at the close of the event. Vendors agree to allow the use of videos and photographs, taken during the event for promotional purposes. Vendors agree to obey all pertinent codes, laws, ordinances and regulations, including but not limited to; fire, safety, and parking. 


Canopy tents must be fire retardant. MCA, or its Board, as well as the event coordinators are not liable for refunds or any other liabilities for the vendor’s failure to obey the rules and regulations or due to the unstable condition of the area in which the event is held, caused by but not limited to; weather, fire or other calamity, any act of nature, public enemy, strikes, statutes, ordinances of any legal authority or any other cause beyond MCA's control.


MCA, at their sole discretion reserves the right to refuse participation to any vendor, entertainer, or other participant for any reason. MSA reserves the right to request any vendor, entertainer, or other vacate and leave the event premises due to merchandise or behavior deemed inappropriate for this family event, the sale of merchandise other than approved on your application or any other reason. 


No refunds are issued in the case of stated incidences. 

2019 Vendor Update: Due to Merriment's growing popularity, we are moving to a Vendor Application Process. Vendors will fill out the application below, submit a $25.00 registration fee, and will be notified within 7 days regarding their application status. In the unlikely event that vendors that are not accepted, they will be issued a refund of their registration fee.
Application and registration is one combined fee of $25.00.
